If you don't have much information and don’t know where your family members are from, with the help of specialists we will search for your history. They will do their best to research it for you.

If you don’t want to travel individually, join one of our pre-planned group tours, which will give you the security of a group with the flexibility to take independent day trips to explore your ancestor history and immerse yourself in the Portuguese culture.

About us

Travel 4 Experiences is the result of a dream that wishes to responds to a gap that we felt existing in the tourist offer.

In this way, working directly with municipalities and local communities, we identify, develop and offer a wide range of authentic and rewarding experiences existing in the Portuguese territory. Based on this work, today we offer differentiated trips to Portugal based on experiences in which you will be received and guided by authentic local hosts.

A journey where the careful narrative, unique and immersive experiences, will lead you to emerge in Portuguese history, culture and traditions, contributing to the economic, social and ecological sustainability of the populations.

Since the beginning we collaborate with several researchers of history and archaeology in the development of unique and exclusive itineraries focused on the history of Portugal.

As a result of this joint work, a partnership project was born about four years ago with researchers in the field of genealogy, to create and implement a service called “Back to the Roots”. It is a service in which starting from a rigorous genealogical investigation it is intended to take the traveler to meet his/hers history in Portugal in in other words Travel 4 YourRoots.
